Sink for iPhone · Effective October 23, 2026

What the app collects

Sink connects to a link-shortener instance that you run yourself. The app stores two things on your iPhone: your instance address and your Site Token, both in the iOS Keychain. That is all the app keeps.

If you send a feedback report from Settings → Send Feedback, the app uploads the text you wrote, up to four screenshots you chose, your app version, device model, OS version and locale. Reports are anonymous — no name, email or account is attached.

There is no account system, no analytics, no advertising identifier and no tracking.

How data is used

Who receives data

No data goes anywhere else. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Your credentials stay in the Keychain until you tap Disconnect or remove the app. Links and analytics live on your instance — delete them in the app or on the server; uninstalling the app removes the token but not your instance data.

Feedback reports are anonymous, so they cannot be traced back to you. To remove one, contact us and include what the report said.

Withdrawing consent

Tap Disconnect in Settings to remove your credentials — that ends every connection from the app. Feedback is sent only when you submit it.
